Regarding healthcare, your main port of call is the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital (KEMH), which provides a full range of health services for those on the island, including overseas staff. Most healthcare services, including prescriptions, are free for residents. However, there may be some charges for items such as glasses, dentures, and cosmetic dental procedures.

Healthcare System Overview
The Falkland Islands Health and Social Services Department looks after all healthcare services and the KEMH is the Islands’ hospital.
