Several options are available for young children, including three nurseries and four registered childminders. They will look after children from 3 months up to 4 years old. There is also wrap around care (before and after school and lunchtimes) for children up to the age of 12.
Childcare typically runs from 7.30 am to 5pm weekdays. If you have a job with irregular hours, you may need to contact someone to see if they can offer childcare at these times.
When you arrive in the Falklands, you will have the opportunity to visit the local nurseries or meet the childminders to help make up your mind.
